About me

Dirty Milk Productions was founded in August of 2006 in Astoria, New York (Queens). The company was driven by the thirst of Flip Digital, now current CEO and President. Flip Digital, who is a former MC was influenced by the passion he had for hip hop, and a dream. He had recently been released from a six month sentence on Rikers Island and wanted nothing but to get in the recording booth so he could release the tension of incarceration. After many attempts to obtain assistance from associates he still had not had an opportunity to do so, and with limited funds for professional facilities, he then decided to create his own means of recording.
Flip Digital started With a Sony Playstation 2 and a game called Music Maker. Many people doubted that he could ever take his music from the game and create tracks with them. That was only fuel for the fire though. After looking into it, he discovered he could split the connecting rca cables and link the audio to a Roland CDX 1 Disc Lab. He was able to prove everyone who had told him it couldn’t be done, wrong. Things quickly started to come together. He was granted a loan from his Grandfather to obtain a few more things he needed. Once he had the microphone and sound shield he realized that his true place was behind the mixing board.
After creating his first track, “God’s unwanted” featuring Major, Melo Malo Paulino, and himself he had a small get together. A few friends came by his grandfathers home where he had his equipment. They began to drink Incredible Hulk’s and became very intoxicated. A friend asked him what he was going to name his newly founded company. He then replied in a drunken slur “Dirty Milk”. His friend asked him what that meant and he said simply “that’s me”. Everyone laughed and agreed. And so Dirty Milk Productions was founded off of the true meaning of hip hop. Good music, good friends, and the desire to create opportunities. Not to mention Weed and Liqs. So sit back, relax and enjoy the history we'll all create together!!!
