About me: Neo Keez, formally Jaquarius, is one of Chicago’s original pioneers of 80’s house music. Born in Chicago and raised on the South Side and Later relocating to San Jose California, Neo Keez soon shot into prominence with his first hit song “Love is Happiness” in 1988 featuring Pam Rose Taylor and Lava/Atlantic Records recording artist David Josias which reached the British House Top 20 and stayed number 10 on the billboard charts for several weeks. In the 90’s Neo Keez began perfecting his own unorthodox style of music production. This would eventually become the genres that include Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, Dance, House and Pop. Neo Keez has carved a name for himself as a Midwest based producer working with a wide range of artist including AK-47 from Chicago’s own Do or Die, Chama L.A.C.E., Mike Dilla, Mr. Grind, Bone Capone, Senabella Gill and The Freestyle Phenom Shorty Mack from Shorty Mack Entertainment. Neo Keez now works to educate up and coming artist on the politics of the music industry.
