Why was I charged twice for this month?

You were charged twice because you have started multiple subscriptions in PayPal without cancelling the previous one's you have made. Starting new subscriptions do not in any way overwrite or cancel previous ones so you must make sure you specifically go into PayPal and cancel any subscriptions before starting new ones.
