Beating my brains trying to figure out how to give a free beat or drum kit away to people who join my mailing list...how can this be done. btw I use mailchimp. Anybody have methods that actually work???

Well most mailing list providers allow you to send an email just after someone signs up to you. It may be called something like a confirmation email. In this email you will write what you want your subscribers to read for the first time when signing up, so in this email you will put a download link to your free beat.
