A "beat" is an instrumental. It is the background music that you hear in a song. Simply put, it is a song without the vocals.

Well if you're talking about the beats on the Features page, then yes I made them. Even though you can purchase them from the player on this website, they are not up there with the intention to sell, just as an example of what the player can do. I sell my beats on my website trubeats.com - everyone else who uploads their beats on the site, sell their beats on their own website, not this one.

I've never really worked with beats in this sense. Are your beats in the form of loops, or do people buy them, put them into a recording software and then sing over them?

I've been chatting about other general stuff here for weeks, but I'd like to learn more about the basics here.

Do you produce them in different keys?
