I personally have never seen the effectiveness of this strategy at all. It in my opinion destroys the image of your company because let's face it people at the end of the day you are a company unless you don't want to profit from your talents. I know someone that is pushing that hard to sell me a beat is possibly not selling much anyway hence their desperate please for attention. Do yourself a favor and find out what your niche market is and where they like to go to but their tracks. Do a survey of your mailing list and find out some info about your target market. You have to do more than make beats to create a profitable business.
