I haven't been able to produce anything new in 2 - 3 months. What do I do????

But is this because you have been doing other things or because your just not producing anything your feeling?

i think you can start now if you feel like producing...just curious what keep you from not produicng anything?

maybe it could be one of his reasons..or a personal one perhaps? what do you think?

I guess its becuase I'm not getting the time. I've got to start making the time for it, see if I can come up with anything new!

WHEN I GET BEATBLOCKED, ITS ONLY FOR A FEW SECONDS. LOL I REALIZE THAT I NEED A NEW STRATEGY WHEN MAKING BEATS. SO I START CHANGING MY ARRANGEMENT UP MAKING THE ENVIRONMENT FEEL LIKE A FRESH START. THATS ALL AND MAYBE SOME NEW SOUNDS

I know this sound a bit weird but lighting is very important to me when making music. I prefer to have a nice desk lamp on than the room light switch. It creates a nice atmosphere to work in.

Damn, I get this on so many levels.. the solution for me is try a different DAW, a new plug-in or a new keyboard or something. Anything different really, to generate some freshness.

Another trick is to try not to make a beat. Try experimenting with a new technique and before you know it you can get sidetracked and end up with a banger.

If all else fails, smoke some weed, or smoke some more weed, or smoke some less weed. Not the most constructive advice, but desperate times call for desperate measures..
