Does anyone use auto-tune for pitch correction or robotic sound effects?
My friend was showing me its features and I found it really cool.
I was reading some articles on the net and it seems like it has become an essential feature for some artists.

There has been a lot of buzz over auto-tune lately, specially for T-Pain. People are saying he can't sing at all and without auto-tune he'd would sound like a cat. lol

Personally I think it can be effective if it's not overdone, but I've definitely heard it used in ways when I found it distracting. I guess it's a matter of taste.

I've never used it, but I'd be willing to adjust pitch in audio editing mode of Cubase.

Autotune is not designed for that effect, it's designed to make people who sing out of tune sound (naturally) in tune. T-Pain made it an effect. I personally like the effect, I think too much of it can be annoying but what the hell man if people are loving the records the use it. Not even Jay-Z can stop the revolution with DOA haha

BAHAHAHA!!! That video of Ricardo really made my day! Ha ha. I keep on laughing while watching it. Oh, nice video. Ha ha. Anyways, so T. Pain doesn't really sound good on singing huh and this is his secret. Hmm... For all I know too, Auto-tune are for effects and not voice enhancer.
