Does anyone know any software to change the tone and speed of songs?
I have some songs which I find kinda boring due to its tempo. I heard that some radio stations speed up some songs so they sound better and less boring.

I've changed both pitch and speed of audio files in Cubase SX. It was effective for someone using the audio as a backing track for his vocals.

The more you change it though, the more "artifacts" or odd noise you introduce to the track.

Well you could use Kontakt - it's a software sampler that you can also use standalone without having to use a sequencer like Cubase or Logic. Then you just put the track in and play it at different keys to change the speed and tone
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't....you're probably right
