I think it's bugs in the new version because I don't have this problem with Logic 8, it's just when I upgraded to Logic 9 and that's when everything started to go wrong. I think I will wait a while till I upgrade to be honest, i'm in no particular rush as 8 does the job for me.

That is the problem with slower computers, when you start racking up the channels on your software, your computer has a mental breakdown lol. That's why Mac's are so good because you can still have an old Mac but it keeps it speed over time, a lot longer than PC's do

To be honest, it is a bit of a CPU hog compared to Logic 8 and earlier, but that isn't the problem.

There are some serious bugs in Logic 9, although the update seems to have improved things considerably.

I'm struggling on with 9, but I would advise sticking to 8 for now unless you urgently need flex-time or one of the other new features. I'll try to keep you updated, if you'll excuse the pun...

Logic 9 i not yet fixed until now and it takes a lot of time for them to upate it completely. I don't know why we upgraded to Logic 9 when 8 is enough. I advise some of my colleagues to just use Logic 8 either.

I also wondered about it being a CPU hog or having insufficient RAM issues.

I've never used it, but I know it took me a long time to reinstall Cubase, with all the VST software I want with it after my hard drive issue.

It would really suck if you were in the middle of an important project when it kept crashing.
