About me

This is ya boy Smuv, (“Smooth”) up and comin producer/engineer. I started when I was around 18 wit a group, producing and rhyming, but now I’m just a freelance producer down to work wit whoever loves good music. I do hip hop, r&b, gospel, rock, jazz or pretty much anything that I become inspired to do. I’m a big fan of music as a whole. I listen to a little of everything so I have all kinds of influences to do different types of tracks, so holla at me if u want work. I must say that I don’t like the direction that hip hop is going right now, most of these tracks that are out right now are lame, most rappers that are out right now have no lyrical ability of any kind, the beatz are simple and could have been produced by a 9 year old on a $50 casio, there are no choices or options because everything is commercialized, everyone is talking bout the same thing, all tracks have the same gimmick, and I think that it’s all about makin money more than it is for the love of hip hop and good music. There are still good lyricists out that aren’t being heard because all that is being promoted is trash. I would go as far as to say that hip hop isn’t dead, just in critical condition. I dream to make music that people will love and that will live on for generations. Like I said I’m down to produce for anyone so get at me.
